Fr. Charles J. Brunick, CSP,
is a newly arrived resident at St. Phillip Neri Parish in Portland, where he serves as Director of the Paulist Center for Evangelization and Reconciliation.
Ordained in 1970, he spent 20 years as a campus minister and parish pastor in Texas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, and Utah.
Since 1990 he has been working in evangelization ministries: preaching, teach-ing, and training parish leadership in the for-mation of evangelization teams, developing parish strategies for inviting and welcoming returning inactive Catholics, and reaching out to the unchurched.
He comes to Portland from Chicago where he directed Paulist Evangelization Ministries and worked in the Archdiocesan Office for Evangelization as Coordinator for Parish-Based Evangelization. He also served as the Midwest Coordinator for Landings, a Paulist developed reconciliation process for inviting and welcoming inactive and returning Catholics.
Fr. Michael E. Evernden, CSP
has been back in Portland for four years. Ordained in 1974 his main interest has been and continues to be the unchurched and inactive Catholic. Through retreats, days of recollection, workshops and various media he wants to enable active Catholics to share their faith, deepening their own life of faith and welcoming others into the circle of Catholic life and spirituality.
Fr. Rich Colgan, CSP
is pastor of St. Philip Neri parish in SE Portland, Oregon. Concerned with the global warming, peace and justice he offers missions, retreats and workshops aimed at using these problems as sources for prayer and a deeper understanding of our Catholic way of life. He is the coordinator of Young Adult Ministries in the NW, and an active member of MAC-G the Metropolitian Alliance for the Common Good.
